About Shedy

The artist Ebitubou Shedrack Gowon Johnnny, known musically as SHEDY hails from Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. To all fans, supporters and all lovers of Shedy's music, this is a personal annoucement from Shedy himself.

"I have taken steps to delete all my previous songs from the internet. This decision wasn't made lightly, but it came from a place of deep reflection and spiritual awakening. For a long time, I was searching for my true voice as an artist–unsure of what I stood for or the message I wanted to share. But today, I stand firmly in purpose, having discovered my true calling in the music industry.

I now go by the name “Preacher Of Reality.” This new identity represents a powerful shift in my mission as an artist: to be a messenger of truth, a voice for the unheard, and a channel for the raw emotions, struggles, and hopes of everyday people. Through my music, I aim to express real-life experiences—both my own and those of others—through a spiritual lens, grounded in honesty, pain, hope, and faith.

My just released single, titled “Inner Tears,” which was released on Friday, May 16th, 2025, is a reflection of this new direction. It is not just a song—it’s a message. Inner Tears tells the story of silent battles, unspoken pain, and the daily struggles of people crying out to God for a breakthrough. It gives voice to the voiceless and offers hope through heartfelt lyrics and soul-stirring melody.

This is just the beginning of a new chapter. I hope the world connects with this new sound and embraces the truth, spirit, and sincerity that I now bring through my music."
